Sorry its been awhile since Ive posted but Ive been trying several new products and will have lots of reviews to update you on.   First I'd like to tell you about a product that just hit the states as far as I know and is already getting hard to find.  It was available at Marshals and TJMaxx.  Its from AU.
The product sold for 7.99 here in Indiana.

These were the booties I put my feet into for the treatment.  What seemed like a Chemical Peel for my feet.

I get a pedi about once a month so my feet weren't in bad shape before I started.  Not a lot of callus build up except on back of heels.

I placed the booties on and then placed socks over them.  It didn't call for this but I wanted to walk around and didn't want them falling off.

I kept them on for one hour.
Them max amt of time.

After day 4 and day 5 when I didn't see any change I was beginning to think this product was a total dud.  Today is exactly one week.  I did this last Sunday and today after my shower I noticed that my feet were really beginning to peel.  So here are the pics from exactly one week later.  A bit gross but the skin below is so soft.  Cant wait till it all peels off.  I will do another update next Sunday.

from this last week

to this today.....how gross I know

The peeling has begun

More peeling

coming off by the hand full.   I'm loving it.  I should have amazing skin on my feet of all things by next week.

Now let me say Ive went looking for more of these and I cant find them.  Sold out everywhere...so I will have to try and look online for them next.  Not like I will need another one for several months but I would like to try this again.

These are the kind of results I got once with a Medical Grade Chemical Peel on my decollete.

UPDATE;  2 weeks post peel pics

Now Ive been to about 10 stores looking for this peel to repurchase because I think its amazing.  However, I cant seem to find it anywhere locally.  It is available online from the AU site and at a MUCH higher price.

What exactly is an Esthetician vs Aesthetician

An esthetician is a cosmetologist who focuses on skin care. An esthetician can perform facials and microdermabrasion treatments, and apply makeup. They can also perform body wraps, wax eyebrows, as well as administer aromatherapy treatments. Generally, estheticians are involved in all aspects of caring for and beautifying a person's skin.

 About.com defines it as:
Estheticians, also called skin care therapists, work at salons, day spas, and medi-spas. Estheticians are trained in the cosmetic treatment of the skin. They perform various cosmetic procedures including facials, body treatments, and waxing. Most estheticians offer a variety of specialty spa treatments

All estheticians must be licensed in the state that they are working in.  A good esthetician also completes many hours of post-graduate education, and strives to stay abreast of the latest developments in skin care.

Estheticians are not medical doctors so they can't diagnose skin conditions, prescribe medications, or suggest treatment for any skin condition outside of cosmetic products. They can perform treatment complementary to a doctor's treatment (like extracting blackheads and gently exfoliating the skin). Some estheticians work closely with dermatologists, either in-office or through a referral system.

Estheticians specialize in cosmetic, rather than medical, skin care treatments. So while they can't prescribe acne medications or treat serious acne, they can help you care for your skin and perform professional treatments.

Aestheticians are licensed skin-care specialists. They treat facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance. Medical aestheticians work with patients whose skin or appearance is affected by trauma or medical procedure, such as surgery. Required courses in a medical aesthetics program often include skin analysis and massage, skin treatment administration, hair removal, cosmetics, makeup application, and customer service.

Medical estheticians must hold a state license to practice skin care, and tend to focus on helping patients care for skin before and after procedures, treating skin disorders and working with cancer or burn patients. Medical estheticians in plastic surgery offices tend to focus on patient skin care and education.

Medical estheticians working in a plastic surgeon's office perform certain services under the supervision of the doctor. These duties include medical peels, photo light facials and exfoliations, all of which require sterile preparation. Other duties include professional extractions and detailed skin analyses, the latter helping patients improve their skin by using products tailored to them. In many offices, estheticians are also responsible for applying post-procedure skin care products.

Who Is Licensed to Give Botox Injections?

Botox is the most widely accepted dermal filler used by Dermatologists and Cosmetic Surgeons for skin rejuvenation, and wrinkle correction. Botox is also used for treatment of migraine headaches, muscle spasms and excessive sweating. When you decide on treatment, look for an experienced injector,

Most states allow only licensed physicians to inject Botox. There are some exceptions where qualified and trained health care professionals like nurses, physicians assistants, medical assistants and nurse practitioners are licensed to inject Botox. The state medical board will be able to guide you on the regulations for your state.

States allowing for other health care professionals to inject Botox require a doctor be on site to supervise injections. Only a doctor can order Botox from the manufacturer. Strict supervision of doctors by Allergan, the makers of Botox, help protect and insure you are not at risk when you decide to get treatment. Florida, Texas, California and Oklahoma are a few of the states allowing for injection by other health care professionals.

Wednesday WEN: Cleansing Conditioner

I first tried this product about 3 yrs ago.  The first couple of times I tried it....I just didn't get what all the buzz was about.  I stopped using it and went back to the shampoo and conditioner in the shower.  Then after I had used that I went back to this WEN just to use it up before I purchased anything else.  That was when I really noticed the difference it makes.  I began to see the changes in my hair just after I got a haircut.  I noticed that I wasn't getting the split ends.  I have always colored my hair and all the peroxide would damage my hair and the shampoo would continue to strip it of its shine.

After this particular haircut I noticed the split ends weren't returning.  Then I noticed I could not only go every other day before having to shampoo but I could go 3 and 4 days.  My hair stayed cleaner longer than it ever had.  As long as I didn't go to the gym or do anything that would cause me to sweat....I mean glow, could extend the days between cleansing.  This cut down on how often I blew my hair dry...meaning less damage from the hot dryer... the hot rollers ...the curling irons and on and on and on.
The most conditioning

Cleaning Conditioner: Water, Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Chamomile Extract,Marigold Flower Extract, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Menthol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Amodimethicone, Polysorbate 60, Witch Hazel, Dicetyldimonium Chloride, Avocado Oil, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B-5), Citric Acid, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Essential Oils.

I have now used WEN for over 2.5 yrs. Until this week when I tried a new product for someone the only other time shampoo has touched my hair was at the hairdresser when I get my hair done. I really like Wen cleansers, oil, treatment and styling products. I'm sure I will review the other products in the near future.

Other Wen Products I use:

Finishing Treatment Creme and the styling cream

 Intensive Treatment Oil

Why is it different: Cleansing Conditioner replaces shampoo, conditioner, detangler, and even shaving cream. It also adds moisture without weighing hair down, while effectively cleansing and hydrating hair. Replenishing Treatment Mist gives your hair, face, and body an instant pick-me-up with its rejuvenating and moisturizing properties. Re-moist Hydrating Mask helps to moisturize dry, stressed hair--restoring body and shine.
These oils are great when placed on the scalp at night, sleep with it on my scalp.  In the morning I cleanse it out.

Once a week I try to apply the Re-Moist Treatment.  This is applied after cleansing on wet hair and after several hrs I rinse it out.

Monday Mask: Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage

Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage Extreme Renewal:

This was my first time to use this product. All of the products so far had been products I had and have been using.  This one came in the mail last week for me to try.   It was easy to use and made my skin super soft.  I didn't care for the mess I made in my bathroom getting this off but after I felt my skin....It was all worth it.  Next time I will do this before my shower and not after.  Then I can just rinse it off in the shower.

This reminded me of the old mud mask that I used in high school. The Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask (great mask for oily skin for the price and still made today).  It was thick and messy.  However, it was a totally different feel when it came off.  It did give the same cooling/menthol effect but my skin felt so much softer and well hydrated.

I also feel a slight tightening of the skin.  Usually with the tightening I feel dry from other products but with this my skin is very hydrated and soft. I just cant stop touching my face.  I just had a one time use sample of this product but it was enough to do my face and neck.  I'm going to have to get a bottle of this ordered before winter gets here if not before.  This is so worth purchasing!

UPDATE:  The following morning my skin was just as soft as it was the night before.  I loved how hydrated my skin felt.  At almost 50 yrs old thats not an easy thing for a product to do.  Im online now ordering my own bottle.  This is a moderately priced mask and with a 20 percent off coupon and with such good results, Im buying!

I thought I posted this months ago.
Dont know why I never did...sorry

Friday Facial Week 4

Sorry I didn't notice until today that this didn't upload.  I'll try again.  I usually do my Friday Facial on Thursday and upload it on Friday.  Ive been having trouble with my cable connection lately.

Serious Skin Care Extreme Results is a product that Ive used for over 10 yrs.  It was one of the first @home peels I ever tried.  I have used it a lot over the years.  Then for reasons unrelated to the product I started using other products.  Always looking for something better or that fit the changes I was seeing in my skin.  Also some were suggested by a Dr. friend of mine.  However, I always seem to come back to it from time to time.  Its a really good product and a great place to start if you have never done an exfoliation.  This is both a physical exfoliation and a chemical one.

Features

C-Extreme Results Advanced Vitamin C Skin Resurface 2-Part Beauty Treatment
4 oz. C-Resurface (Part 1) rapidly exfoliates the skin while delivering Vitamin C
4 fl. oz. C-Potion (Part 2) polishes and smooths your skin, leaving its texture feeling incredibly soft and silky
Helps skin look smoother and younger
Use twice a month

This product is for the over 40 skin.  However, I started using it at about age 35.  Step one physically exfoliates the skin.  You do need to be careful if you have sensitive skin not to scrub to hard for this product can be abrasive.  This product has a grainy feel to it.  Then after the physical exfoliation you add step two which is the chemical portion.  This is where your skin will get even smoother.  I really enjoy this product and have probably purchased this product at least 6 times and I have 2 sets now.  I have kept one at each house.  I use this product about once every 3 months now but in the past Ive used it every week.  Ive noticed in the last year as Ive taken better care of my skin I need this type of treatment less.

This product can be purchased online in sets of other similar Vit. C products for savings.
